LET’S SAY HELLO TO SUMMER! We would like to introduce you JANBAR, an impressive Ethiopian ECX Grade one natural process coffee in this sweaty weather. "Janbar" means "sun" in Amharic. SUMMER! The Ethiopia Commodity Exchange (ECX) is an organized marketplace, where buyers and sellers come together to trade, assured of quality, quantity, payment, and delivery. Once the coffee is delivered to the ECX warehouse, the coffee is stripped off its provenance, graded by government workers using the Q System, and given a region and a marking grade. Grade One means the highest cup quality. A couple benefits of using this route is that you know the farmers who submitted this Grade 1 separation were paid accordingly, rewarded for the high quality - and paid up front. Janbar is an absolute killer on the table. CLOSE YOUR EYES, YOU WILL FIND IT TASTES like a GESHA variety.
LIGHT ROAST, AROMA BOOST Our roast master applied a relavtively shorter roasting time and higher ending temperature to roast this coffee. Philosophy behind is to preserve most aroma while maximize the complexity of this coffee.

BREWING TIPS REST for 7 days PLEASEeeeeeeeeeeeee This bean need a longer rest to develop the wonderful Floral Passion Fruit Honey Tea and Lychee flavor under this particular roast profile.
Brew ratio: 1:17 Recommend 94°C brewing water. Best serving temperature ~40-60°C
